Tech giant VMware this week celebrated its 10th year in Ballincollig, Co Cork.
It opened in Barrack Sqaure back in 2005 with 10 staff and now employs 750.
Expansion continues and VMWare will take over new adjoining office space in October and the head count will rise to 1,100.
The company’s European vice president is a Jean-Pierre Brulard, he remarked
“The strong growth we have seen over the past 10 years and the opening of the new Cork office in October demonstrates the continued importance of our operations in Ireland… We’re also committed to our people and the local community”
