Set on the Kinsale side of Riverstick village, just 17km from Cork city centre, 8km from Cork airport, 10.5km from Kinsale, 12km from Carrigaline
TheCork.ie reported back in December 2019 that a 93-bed nursing home was being developed by the Ireland branch of Chinese Delsk Group. Today, the building was officially opened by the Taoiseach.
Residential care provider Silver Stream Healthcare Group is running the facility. The group is also opening new homes in Dundalk and Meath, and is still recruiting nationally for positions in Nursing, Physiotherapy, Housekeeping, kitchen, Facilities, and for Care Assistants, and Activity Coordinators.
Riverstick will also contain a transitional step-down care centre which will allow certain patients to leave Cork University Hospital, and thus ease pressure on that public Hospital.
