With the help of its patron, Munster and Ireland Rugby Star Simon Zebo,
Cork ARC Cancer Support House unveiled its new visual identity.
Cork ARC is a registered charity and voluntary organisation supporting
cancer patients and their families since 2003. The aim of their new brand
is to increase their visibility online and offline for those with a cancer
diagnosis and their families, while also remaining competitive in the
fundraising marketplace locally and nationally.
Cork ARC Cancer Support House has been providing cancer support services to
people with cancer and their families in the Munster region since 2003.
Their new logo was developed to reflect the core values of Cork ARC, and
the kindness and care that cancer patients and their families experience
when using the services. The shape evolved from the meeting of hands,
demonstrating the importance they place in building relationships based on
safety and trust with their visitors. The new branding reflects the range
of supports that Cork ARC offers to both men and women.
Hilary Sullivan, Head of Fundraising/Corporate Affairs says, “We wanted to
ensure that our new brand is reflective of the people who visit Cork ARC,
their honesty, strength, and inspiration as well as the energy and passion
of those who volunteer so generously to support our work and the staff who
make it all possible.”
As part of their rebranding Cork ARC have also launched a new website with
information on their services, community events and a recipe blog. For

Cork ARC have been using their existing branding since its foundation in
2003 and in this time its services and scope have developed considerably.
It symbolises how far the charity has come and is a testament to all those
who made it possible. Cork ARC is mindful that as it moves forward, using
best practice to adapt to the developing support needs of cancer patients,
so too should its brand. This rebrand is well-timed for Cork ARC as they
expand their services to Knocknaheeny and the opening of a house in Bantry
on 14th April, to serve the people of West Cork.
