Cork based printing company, Lettertec Ireland Ltd have won an Irish
Print Award in the Print Finishing category for its book “Celebrating
21 years of the Cork Person of the Year Awards”. Lettertec faced
strong competition from printing companies and specialist print
finishers from Dublin and Belfast, in a ceremony that took place in
the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Santry, Dublin recently.
This unique, limited edition, hardback book was printed and bound at
Lettertec’s purpose-built factory in Carrigtohill, Co. Cork. The
judges said that the book won the award “due to its excellent
execution and outstanding quality.”
It is the second year in a row that the company has won an Irish Print
Award. In 2013, it won an award in the Digital Print category. It is
also good news for the book, which celebrates all that is good about
Cork. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the book goes towards
Marymount Hospice and Hospital. The book is available at Liam
Ruiseal’s Bookshop, Oliver Plunkett Street., Cork.
