Cork County Council has given in to pressure from local elected Councillors again.
Officuals have already relaxed parking for Christmas in Douglas, Kinsale and Bandon and now Cobh.
Cobh Municipal District Council has announced that there will be Free Parking in Cobh Town from Monday 8th December, 2014 to Friday, 2nd January, 2015 inclusive. No charge will apply for parking in either the off street carparks or on the streets of the town during this period.
In order to keep the turnover of parking in the town, the normal time limits will continue to apply.
