The Christmas season is underway in Cork, and with it various collections
for charities have begun.
One novel initiative this year is 50 pubs across Cork City aiming to raise
50,000 euro before the 25th of December.
The money will go to Saint Vincent de Paul and the ambitious idea comes
from the City Branch of the Vintners Federation of Ireland.
Each pub will have a Santa Claus for the coming 3 weekends on the door
accepting donations.
