A National political movement, headquartered in Cork, has launched it’s
Manifesto.
The “Peoples Convention” or C-P-P-C is based on Douglas Street in the City
and is running 18 candidates in the Local elections on May 23rd.
Of those 7 are running in Cork City and 6 in County Cork, the remained in
Limerick, Monaghan and Dublin.
The core idea of the CPPC is that Councillors should consult with the
electorate before EVERY vote.
Monday the 19th of May will be the last ordinary meeting of the current
City Council, and the “Peoples candidate” group will be outside the doors
of City Hall on that day with a table…..
