Sinn Féin say their party is in a “strong position” for the Local and
European elections.
Sinn Féin spokesman for Agriculture and Fisheries Martin Ferris TD was
in Cork City this afternoon
delivering an main oration at the parties annual “Easter Rising commemoration”
In a speech at Saint Finbarr’s Cemetery on the Glasheen Road,
he referred to the latest two opinion polls which show weakness in the
coalition Government,
The Sunday Times have Fine Gael dropping nine points to 21, with
Labour steady on nine percent.

The Sunday Independent poll has Fine Gael up two to 29, with Labour on
just six percent.
