Ryanair today celebrated 10 million passengers at Cork Airport. To
mark the occasion we gave our 10 millionth passenger, local Sinead
Hurley, a pair of flights to Tenerife. Ryanair began operating at Cork
26 years ago with a route to London Stansted and today offers
passengers in the South West a choice of 21 exciting destinations.
To celebrate Ryanair is releasing 100,000 seats across its European
network at prices starting from €17.99 for travel on Mon, Tue, Wed &
Thur in February and March and these “all in” cheap flights will be
available on over 1,000 of Ryanair’s European routes, but must be
booked on the Ryanair.com website before midnight (24:00hrs) Mon, 27
Jan.
Ryanair’s €17.99 sale fare includes all non-optional taxes, charges
and fees, so passengers who only travel with carry-on luggage and
decline our priority boarding service can book, check-in online and
fly for this advertised €17.99 fare.

“I am delighted to welcome Ryanair’s 10 millionth Passenger through
Cork Airport at the start of a new year and to be looking forward to
building on this significant milestone over the next 12 months. The
growth in Ryanair’s passenger base at Cork Airport since 1987 has been
impressive and we are delighted to see the airline continue to serve
over 20 destinations from Cork this year. The addition of the new East
Midlands service since October is a further addition to the range of
destinations served direct from Cork Airport to the greater Munster
region.”
