And why not? After all, that’s what mints all the money which keep businesses going and growing. But, are companies satisfied with the rates that they are converting at?
Studies report that only 22% of businesses are satisfied with their conversion rates. So, what about the others? Well, they are looking for subtle CRO techniques that can work wonders for them. Are you one of them? If you are, we have three simple tips to help you boost your website’s conversion rates.
1. Get Rid of Distracting Elements On Your Website
The primary purpose of your landing page is to convert. Do you think that can happen if any distracting elements are present on the page?
Navigation menu. Search bar. Unnecessary clutter and everything else that can take your prospects’ attention away from your target offer is dangerous for your conversion rate.
Think about it. If a prospect visits your target page and sees a navigation menu with some other information, they may click through. Your website’s overall bounce rate may stay low. This prospect may even spend an hour reading your blog posts and other useful resources.
But will your offer’s conversion rate go up? You know the answer. And you know the solution too. Humans in 2019 have fish sized attention spans. Don’t give people more reasons to be distracted.
2. Use Better Visuals
The modern marketing world already knows the importance of visuals.
People on Facebook love them. People on Instagram love them. Videos on Google have started dominating the SERPs. And we can’t even describe in words how shareable infographics are becoming every day.
Clearly, visuals are taking over the web. But can any random visual piece help you build crocks of gold?
Nope! It’s only the actionable images, videos, GIFs and infographics that help you win a spate of leads, sales, or whatever your marketing goals relate to.
Take this case, for example.
A German (Deutsch) house selling firm boosted its conversion rates by a whopping 89% with just one image change.
Earlier, their landing page looked like this.
Now in the first look, this looks like a friendly “Need Help” message, which it actually is. But, that’s not all. The company realised it wasn’t their best and so they changed it.
Their new landing page had an image of a man placing a signboard saying “Sold” over an older signboard saying “For Sale”.
And did this work? The company saw an 89% boost in this landing page’s conversion rates.
You see what we mean by saying use better visuals?
3. Don’t Neglect SEO
Most conversion campaigns run on paid marketing campaigns. It’s the right approach that rewards with more traffic, even in the initial stages. But this isn’t all that you should focus on.
SEO is one of the best marketing techniques when it comes to conversion optimization.
One primary reason behind this is that if a prospect reaches you through the search engine, this means that they already want what you are offering.
This cuts down half of your work, and all you need to do not is compel them with an actionable CTA and a smartly planned landing page.

Conclusion
Conversion rate optimisation is something that everyone wants to achieve. But is everyone doing the right thing to make it happen? In reality probably not, as people only have so many hours in the day. In this post, we tried to offer some useful tips on how to boost conversion rates quickly. Hopefully, this was helpful.
