38 jobs are being created in Ringaskiddy.
The Medical devices firm DePuy is expanding its Cork facility.
The company specialises in orthopaedic, spinal and neuroscience devices
such as replacement joints
The jobs are being created as part of an 36 million dollar investment,
in research and development focused on areas including developing new
material
The company, which is a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson, has already begun
hiring for the positions, at masters and PhD level.
Cork TD Sean Sherlock (Lab) who is also Minister of State for Research and Innovation says the
IDA worked behind the scenes to secure the investment and jobs
