The biggest Technology event in Europe will start in Dublin TOMORROW
and….in advance… almost 200 entrepreneurs from Cork will travel to the
Capital today on an unusual chartered train.
Three Cork tech companies – VoxPro, PCH International and TrustEv –
are paying to bring 180 Cork passengers to the Web Summit on a train
they’re calling the “the Startup Express” .
Many of the tickets were given out in an online competition last month,
On-board, passengers will have the opportunity to take part in networking
activities on three themed carriages. and, on reaching Dublin Irish Rail will allow
the train onto on Dart lines to bring passengers as close as possible to the R.D.S.
TrustEv is based in Blackrock, Cork and D.C. Cahalane from the company
says the trip will demonstrate the value of networking to Cork businesses
