BlackBee, the Cork based investment firm, has announced a three year partnership with the Cork Camogie teams. The partnership, which is the first of its kind for BlackBee, will see the company sponsor jerseys for the senior team, intermediate, junior as well as the minor and u16 teams.
BlackBee made the decision to partner with Cork Camogie as they fully believe in the importance of investing in the future of sport in Ireland, from grassroots to senior level. This will be a very significant Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative for the firm over the coming years.
CEO of BlackBee, David O’Shea said: “We are delighted to partner with the Cork Camogie Teams who have been fantastic ambassadors for Cork. They are an amazing group of athletes who have really made the county proud with their achievements. We are looking forward to the coming years as we support them on their task of bringing more trophies back to Cork. This is the first and biggest sponsorship deal for BlackBee to date. We are excited about what’s to come in the future.”
Chairperson of Cork Camogie, Mary McSweeney said: “Cork Camogie are delighted with the announcement today by BlackBee of a three year partnership/sponsorship of Cork Camogie. This sponsorship will help Cork to grow, develop and further enhance Camogie and keep cork to the fore front of the world’s fasted female sport. With our new sponsors BlackBee we look forward to the journey ahead and I have no doubt it will be a winning partnership both on and off the field.”
Cork are the current All-Ireland Senior Camogie Champions after beating Kilkenny by one point in last year’s final in Croke Park.
