What better way to start 2019 then to know a break in magical Malta is just a few short months away? Next year you will be able to fly direct to Malta from Dublin, and also to Malta from Cork on a new Ryanair route that will commence on the 4th April. The Cork service will operate twice weekly as part of the airline’s summer 2019 schedule and will provide Ireland with nearly 400 extra seats a week to Malta in the summer months.

Malta is the ideal destination for families and The Nickelodeon Treasure Hunt Malta, which will run from the 13th – 17th April 2019, is sure to keep kids entertained. The 18th edition of the Malta International Fireworks Festival will take place on four nights between Wednesday 24th April and Saturday 4th May 2019. Fireworks in Malta have a long tradition dating back to the Order of the Knights of St. John and a number of Maltese fireworks factories will be participating in this popular competitive event which features spectacular pyrotechnic displays that you won’t want to miss.
