A Mayfield cyclist is the process of cycling up and down St Patricks hill in Cork City
150 times to raise money for a childs’ operation.
Donncha Cuttriss who is a former Elite Special Forces Irish Ranger,
cycled the hill 100 times last year for charity, and now upped the ante to 150 laps.
today’s cycle started at 6am and will last til around 5pm,
organisers are asking people to turn up on patricks hill for support
It’s in aid of “Abbey’s Wish to Walk.”
Five-year-old Abbey McGeough from Dublin Hill is confined to a wheelchair, having been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy in 2009,
She needs 100,000 for surgery in the US next April which should enable her to walk.
Abbey’s mother Leslie-ann McGeough spoke with TheCork.ie this morning
