Fine Gael TD for Cork South West and Junior Minister of State at the Department of Health, Jim Daly, has today confirmed that Kinsale Community College are to benefit from the Capital Sports Grant following a successful appeal.

Speaking on the announcement Junior Minister Daly said, ‘My government colleague Minister Griffin confirmed to me today that Kinsale Community College were successful after their appeal. Work has already began on the running track but this Capital Sports Grant of €78,100 is a huge investment into the schools project and will go towards the floodlights around it.’
Concluding the Junior Minister said, ‘it just goes to show once again how important the Capital Sports Grant is, it provides vital investment to worthwhile projects such as the one being carried out at Kinsale Community College. I would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate and well wish the organising committee at Kinsale Community College as they continue to do tremendous work in making their project a success.’
