Fastnet has launched the new division to exclusively service the critical role of talentmanagement within multinational and indigenous companies in Ireland.
The War for Talent 2.0, particularly in the science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) sectors, will be discussed at a CIPD Southern Region breakfast briefing sponsored by Fastnet – The Talent Group on 7 February 2018 at the Clayton Hotel Cork City.
Director of BioPharmachem Ireland, Matt Moran, will lead the discussion on the STEM talent crisis, and how Human Resources needs to address the lack of qualified and experienced STEM candidates. With over 35 years industry experience in life sciences, Moran is ideally positioned to share his insights on the industry, skills pipeline and future for STEM talent throughout Ireland.
“Organisations are again competing fiercely to fill roles in the life science sector; it is a national issue that is likely to continue as the industry outpaces the pipeline and supply of STEM talent in Ireland. HR professionals must address this crisis to attract, develop and retain talent in their organisations.
