Scrypt Cafe Bar, the latest addition to Cork’s thriving coffee and wine bar scene, has opened at the Triskel Arts Centre, Tobin Street, Cork.
Rose McKenna, previously of El Vino Restaurant and Curious Wines, has followed her dreams, by re-opening the Cafe Bar with a colourful, Spanish inspired assortment of tapas and toastada, delicious cakes and pastries, barista coffees by Baobab Roasters and a fine selection of wines, spirits and beers.
“I’m so delighted that our big green doors are open and we’re welcoming locals, the cinema and arts centre visitors, and many more besides. Scrypt has a laid back, chilled atmosphere to ponder over a coffee, glass of wine, and have a bite to eat. Our little garden is gorgeous on a nice day. Our walls will showcase local artists, and we’ll host Art, Music & Poetry events. I look forward to welcoming many new faces to try my menu for themselves.”
Scrypt Cafe Bar is open Tuesday to Sunday, serving snacks, food and drinks. Follow on Facebook for opening times, daily specials, menus and latest news. Scrypt Cafe Bar is available for functions and events. Call Rose on 087 052 9669.
