Fianna Fáil will hold its selection convention in Cork South Central tonight.
Two candidates have been nominated: Party President Michéal Martin TD (pictured above), and party spokesman Finance, Michael McGrath TD.
Both are sitting TDs in what is one of the most competitive constituencies in the state – because Fine Gael’s Simon Coveney is also a TD in the constituency.
The Fianna Fail party convention will take place in the Rochestown Park Hotel at 8pm. It will be chaired by the party spokesman on Health and Billy Kelleher TD.
