Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision on the Ballincollig bypass – a 120km dual carriageway – in Co Cork this morning. The crash between a car and cyclist happened around 12.25pm. The cyclist, a man in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car was uninjured.
Investigating Gardaí are appealing for witnesses. Anyone with information is asked to contact Ballincollig Garda Station 021-4214680, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
