Gardaí in Skibbereen, Co Cork are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred on Friday 21st April, 2017
At around 12 midday Gardaí were called to the scene of a collision involving a motor car and a pedal cyclist. The male pedal cyclist, aged in his early 60s, was seriously injured and was taken to Cork University Hospital. The driver of the car was uninjured. The pedal cyclist has since passed away in Cork University Hospital on Saturday 29th April, 2017.
