A decision on the Planning application for the Innishannon Sewage Scheme is expected from Cork County Council next month, on May 8th.
Cork based Fine Gael Senator, Tim Lombard, has welcomed the developments. He told TheCork.ie “The capacity of the new Wastewater Treatment Plant in Innishannon is 2,200 population equivalent, and will be hugely beneficial to Innishannon and the surrounding area. I am hopeful that this scheme will progress from planning through to tenders in a matter of months as this scheme will provide vital infrastructure” for this part of Co Cork.
