eircom are opening of their first “eMobile” store in Cork, as the company reenters the mobile phone market. Eircom had previously exited the GSM arena when the then Telecom Eireann spun off Eircell into a seperate company which today is know as Vodafone Ireland.
In Cork Lord Deputy Mayor of Cork, Cllr. Michael O’Connell will be a guest of honour to cut the eMobile purple ribbon and declare the Cork store officially open at 12pm on Saturday, 16th October.
To celebrate the eMobile store opening eircom say there will be lots of exciting activity for all the family to enjoy. Entertainers will include a face painter and caricaturist, while all customers and shoppers will be invited to play a special eLotto game and be in with a chance to win a range of fantastic prizes including free phones.

12pm – 4pm Family entertainment including face-painting, caricaturing, competitions and give-aways
