€3 Lotto Bet defies odds of 3,800/1
BoyleSports can report that a lucky county Cork punter hit the jackpot on Saturday night after their lotto bet clicked.
The lucky punter who wishes to remain anonymous placed €3 on the numbers 9-18-27 and 35 to be drawn from seven numbers. The numbers were drawn from the Lotto Main Draw defying the odds of 3,800/1.
The customer turned their €3 stake into a whopping €11,403.
Liam Glynn, BoyleSports’ spokesperson said: “We would like to congratulate the lucky customer on their big win and wish them happy spending. It certainly goes to show that small stakes can reap big dividends.”
He added “The customer would have only won €45 if they played the same numbers with the National Lottery so they certainly have a reason to be laughing out loud to themselves for the foreseeable future.”
