The Clarion Hotel Cork have welcomed back to Cork, Conor O’Toole as General Manager. As a result of Dalata Hotel Group Plc acquiring the Clarion/Choice hotel portfolio in Ireland, there has been some internal company movements. Garret who was GM of the Clarion Hotel Cork has taken over the position as GM in the Clarion Hotel Liffey Valley Dublin and Conor who was GM in Liffey Valley has returned to Cork .
Conor who is originally from Carlow returned from London in 1997 to the Old Jurys Hotel on Western Road and held various positions in Jurys prior to becoming GM of the then Silver Springs Moran Hotel in 2001 a position when he held until 2006. He was also GM in Blarney Golf Resort for a number of years prior to taking on the role in Liffey Valley. Conor is delighted to return to Cork and is relishing the opportunity to again work within the vibrant community in Cork. Conor is married to Annemarie with 2 children Evan and Aoife.
The hotel will be re-branding to the “Clayton Hotel City Quarter Cork” from 22nd November 2016.
