Come and celebrate with the Cork Youth Orchestra and enjoy a superb night of music before their concert tour of Italy
The Cork Youth Orchestra performs concerts twice a year in Cork’s City Hall to sell-out audiences. In the last few years CYO presented Sir James Galway, Colm Wilkinson, Michael Ball and most recently Hayley Westenra, amongst many others.
CYO plays to a hugely diverse audiences coming together from far and wide including from abroad to participate in our concerts.
The Orchestra, under conductor Tomás McCarthy, will represent Ireland at the European Festival Of Youth Orchestras in Italy and will perform in open air concerts in Florence, Perugia and Montecatini form July 6th. 7th and 9th.
The Orchestra will perform their Tuscany Programme in a Pre – Tour Concert, Reflections of
Ireland on July 1st, 8pm in the City Hall, Cork. Tickets are available from The Everyman Theatre
