Laura Harmon will hold the Cork launch of her Seanad campaign today. Laura Harmon is the former president of the Union of Students in Ireland and led a campaign in 2015 which registered 30,000 new voters ahead of the marriage referendum.

Laura Harmon said: ‘I’m delighted to be launching my campaign in my home county Cork and in UCC where I studied. I’m a proud Cork woman and would love to be a representative from Cork on the Seanad NUI panel.
‘If elected, I want to reform the Seanad and extend voting rights to all citizens. I will also prioritise education funding and gender equality.’
