Taoiseach Enda Kenny, T.D. will officially open UCC’s Beaufort
Building in Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork, on Saturday 11 July at 12 noon.
The building received an investment of €15.2 million, coming from both
the Irish State and private backers.
It covers 4,700m2 on five floors and can accomodate 135 researchers
and support staff in offices.
The Beaufort Building is located next to the National Maritime College
of Ireland (affiliated with Cork Institute of Technology).
