New Road Names

Children attending schools in Carrigaline together with members of the public were invited to submit their proposed name, which should recognise the links to Carrigaline’s past while also considering the towns future. Entries were submitted through Cork County Council’s online portal at YourCouncil.ie

The Carrigaline Western Relief Road linking Lower Kilmoney Road to Ballea Road is to be named Pottery Road, the bridge Garrydhu Bridge and the link by the Soccer grounds named Mill Road. The official opening is scheduled for Friday October 7th.
