Barry’s Tea is a much-admired brand of tea which is popular in Cork, where the company is headquartered. A question that will divide any audience is Barry’s vs Lions, which is like saying Cork vs Dublin.
Barry’s Tea was founded in 1901 by James J. Barry, and the Barry family are still involved in the business today.
Recently some photographs of what appears to be old packaging have been discussed on reddit.com. Various commenters have tried to guess the date of production.
