Trigon Hotels had two winners at last week’s Irish Hospitality Institute (IHI) National Awards.
Kathleen Linehan, Strategic Director of Human Resources was the winner of the Irish Hospitality Institute Hospitality Manager of the Year for Human Resources and Training at the annual IHI hospitality awards last week.
On the same evening, Managing Director at Trigon Hotels, Aaron Mansworth was presented with the Irish Hospitality Institute Fellowship by Martin Cassidy Chair of the College of Fellows.
In addition to the winners, Trigon Hotels had a number of nominations in the awards. Head Chef at the Cork International Hotel, Martin O’Mahony was nominated for Executive Head Chef, Grainne O’Neill at the Cork Airport Hotel was nominated as the Deputy General Manager, Niamh Hogan was nominated in the Hospitality Employee category while Edel Kavanagh was nominated as the Young Hospitality Manager.
Kathleen Linehan, Strategic Director of Human Resources said: “We are so proud of all our team members at Trigon Hotels and we are delighted to see so many nominated for these prestigious awards. It is also a huge honour for our Managing Director, Aaron Mansworth to receive such an accolade from the IHI and we are delighted for him and so proud of all that he does for our three hotels and Irish hospitality industry too.”
