JYSK, the Danish homeware brand have opened their new store in Youghal. It is located in the former Lidle building at 5 Mill Road, Greencloyne, Youghal; Lidl having upgraded to a larger premises. JYSK have created 12 new jobs in the area. JYSK is planning a number of other stores across Ireland.
What is JYSK?
Jysk is the largest Danish retailer operating internationally. There are more than 2,500 stores in 50 countries and over 22,000 employees. Jysk (meaning “Jutlandic”) was founded by Lars Larsen, who opened the first store on Silkeborgvej in the Danish city of Aarhus in 1979.
