Fianna Fáil TD for Cork-South-West, Margaret Murphy O’Mahony, has welcomed the confirmation of funding for a new CT scanner at Bantry General Hospital.
Deputy Murphy O’Mahony said, “…We have been a long-time campaigning for funding for the hospital.”
“Since 2016 I have repeatedly raised the case for Bantry General Hospital. Bantry General requires a variety of upgrades, including a Rehabilitation Unit and Endoscopy Unit, additional beds and much more.”
“I will continue to raise Bantry General with the Minister for Health at every opportunity to ensure that the new CT scanner is the first in a suite of upgrades delivered,” concluded Deputy Murphy O’Mahony.”
