The Cork Society were delighted to have Mr. Jim Woulfe, CEO of Dairygold as the keynote speaker on the morning of 22nd March 2019. Jim Woulfe is CEO of Dairygold, Ireland’s largest farmer owned Agri & Dairy Business employing 1,250 people and with a turnover of €1 billion and was appointed in July 2009. Dairygold has c. 7,000 shareholders and is the country’s second largest dairy processor assembling 1.3 billion litres of milk annually from its 2,850 milk producers. Dairygold is a leading global food company with locations in Cork, UK, Germany, Spain and China.
Jim has worked in the agri-food sector throughout his career. A UCC Dairy Science graduate he joined the milk processing division of Ballyclough Co-operative Creamery in 1979; Ballyclough Creamery and Mitchelstown Creamery merged to form Dairygold Co-operative Society in 1990. He has held many leadership roles throughout his career including Head of HR at Dairygold and Head of Dairygold’s Agri Business before his appointment as CEO in 2009.
This is a very important date in the Irish Cancer Society calendar and the Chartered Accountants Society are very happy to support it by holding their annual breakfast. This year it will be held in the Clayton Hotel on March 22nd.
