The Metropole Hotel in Cork will host a very special fundraising Black Tie Gala Dinner in aid of the RNLI on Saturday 22nd September.
Each dinner course will be prepared by a separate celebrity chef, which will add a special element to the evening.
The evening will begin with a sparkling drinks reception in the main lobby of the Metropole hotel at 7pm. Guests will then enjoy a gala banquet and then dance the night away to the Roaring Forties. Tickets for this wonderful event are €65 per person.
Aaron Mansworth, Group General Manager for Trigon Hotels said: “We are delighted to be hosting the gala dinner in aid of the RNLI, whose volunteers provide such a valuable service around our coast.”
The RNLI Dinner will take place during the Cork Oyster and Seafood Festival which is running from Friday 21st September until Sunday 23rd September at the Metropole Hotel. Events include live music with The Cork City Samba Band and The Loungeman; free cookery demonstrations with Bord Bia and the All Ireland Oyster Shucking Competition which will also feature The Lazy Chef Simon Lamont.
Tickets for the festival and the RNLI Ball are currently on sale on Eventbrite at €65 per person.
The Metropole Hotel is part of the Trigon Hotel Group, which has 334 guest rooms across three hotels in Cork. The group comprises of the Cork International Hotel, The Metropole Hotel and the Cork Airport Hotel. Some of the other events which took place at the hotels over the last 12 months include the Cork Craft Show and the Cork Chocolate Festival.
