The Clayton Hotel Cork City have re-opened their conference and events centre following a € 350,000 refurbishment.
The hotel’s new conference and events centre host’s its first event this week with a new décor, state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment and upgraded WIFI. The hotel’s Executive Head Chef, Gerry Gillian has developed new catering and refreshment menus to suit clients looking for more healthier options.
Speaking today, Conor O’Toole, General Manager for Clayton Hotel Cork City said:
‘This refurbishment is the final phase of a €3.5 million investment plan set in motion across the entire hotel since January 2017.
Our new conference and events centre will ensure that local companies, training providers and membership groups have a quality meeting and events venue in Cork city centre. We have had positive feedback on our new décor from our customers and have seen a number of gala dinner dance bookings confirmed for later this year.’
The hotel completed refurbishment of all bedrooms earlier this year which now feature luxury King Koil beds and 48’ plasma televisions. The addition of a new coffee bar, Red Bean Roastery, offers guests from nearby offices a more informal lunch and snack options during the day and a further €175,000 has been spent on new equipment in the hotel’s health club, Club Vitae.
