The 2018 Irish Rowing Championships take place at the National Rowing Centre, Farran Wood, Co Cork, this weekend Friday July 13th – Sunday July 15th.
This year’s regatta will be the biggest rowing event ever to take place in Ireland with more than 1,600 athletes competing in 1,127 crews from all four provinces.
Racing will commence at 9am on Friday; 8.30am on Saturday and 8am on Sunday.
The Irish Rowing Championships is the first event in Rowing Ireland’s three-part Festival of Rowing which also includes the Home Internationals Regatta between Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales on July 21 and the Coupe de la Jeunesse from July 27 – 29 which will see young rowers from 14 European countries compete over two days at the National Rowing Centre in Cork.
