Macra is a youth group. Originally established for rural farmers it is now a popular social group nationwide, regardless of occupation.
The Seandun (Cork) regiona of Macra na Feirme will mark its 60th year in existence with a celebratory dinner dance in Rochestown Park Hotel on Saturday April 14th.
Past Seandun Macra members are invited to toast the occasion with current Macra members in recognition of the huge contribution that theSeandun region has made to Irish society and the locality since its foundation. The evening will begin with a chanpagne reception at 6:30pm followed by a full 5 course meal, with music from Bog the Donkey and a DJ.

There will also be a history wall on the night displaying photographs and historical items from the past 60 years. If you have any items that would be suitable for inclusion on the wall please let us know. In addition, a booklet will be available on the night and anyone wishing to sponsor an advertisement in the booklet should make contact. It is hoped to attract as many former Seandun Macra members as possible to celebrate the event with old friends and all are welcome!
