Seandun Up to It’s Usual Capers!
The Seandun Final of Capers was held in Eire Og GAA grounds on Sunday November 26th with teams from Glanmire, Whitechurch and Kinsale taking part on the night.
Each club put on a 20-minute variety performance which included everything from brush dancing to magic! Stalwart Macra member Paul O’Regan of Kinsale was awarded the honour of best male for the second year running while Julie Buckley of Whitechurch won best female.
Best act on the night went to Glanmire Macra for their unusual rendition of Ed Sheeran’s ‘Thinking Out Loud’ while Tanya O’Sullivan of Glanmire was also awarded best producer.
Glanmire Macra stole the show as they were awarded first place having previously won the competition nationally in 2015.
Kinsale Macra were awarded runners-up and both clubs will now go forward to represent the region at the Cork County Final which takes place on December 8th.
