To celebrate Halloween, Youghal Clock Tower – which was officially opened only earlier this year – will open right across the school mid-term from Saturday 28th October to Sunday 5th November inclusive. Tours will run on the hour, every hour from 12.00 pm through to 4pm. As an added bonus for families, the visitor attraction is offering 20% off all family admission tickets, and in keeping with the best Halloween traditions, all visiting children will receive a Youghal Clock Gate Tower Character Mask. This, of course, will enhance the living experience at the Tower, as each child may take on the persona of their character, such as the thoughtless and unkind ‘Gaoler’ of the Tower, Robert Gaul!
During this period Storytellers giving the tour will tailor the tour to suit families and young children. Tours take around 1 hour.
