Carrigaline Lions Club will hold their annual Cycle Rally entitled ‘The Great Railway Cycle’ on Saturday September 30th.
Registration at the Lions Youth Club from 9.00am – 10.00am. Cyclists will have a choice of two courses a 60k or a 100k. Cyclists will leave the Youth Centre and go west to link up with the Bandon Railway line, some will branch off at the Clonakilty junction, Gaggin and head for Timoleague.
The courses will be clearly signposted and marshalled. Funds raised are for Marymount Hospice and the Lions Youth Club.
Meanwhile, the Lions Club continue holding the monthly Car Boot sale in the Circus Field, Crosshaven Road at which the August Car Boot sale attracted a record 70 vendors. The next Car Boot sale will be held in the Circus Field on Sunday September 24th commencing at 10.00am, all funds go towards the debt on the Youth Centre.
