Two lucky players from Cork and Carlow woke up over the weekend to the news that they are the latest to strike it lucky with high Lotto wins.
The National Lottery are advising players in the South and South East to check their tickets with the news that the Lotto Plus 1 winner of €500,000 was sold in the Eason’s store in Mahon Shopping Centre, Cork, while the Lotto March 5 + Bonus worth €109,333 was sold in Dunnes Stores, Sleaty Road, Graigecullen, in Co. Carlow
A National lottery spokesperson said the two wins are the latest in a lucky rolls of high jackpots in recent weeks. “It has been a very lucky streak recently with high jackpots. Last weekend saw a €9.4 million Jackpot win, but we have had many high wins apart from jackpots“.
“It is important that players check their tickets to see if they have hit gold! We look forward to seeing them in the Winner’s room”.

Around 30 cent in every Euro of National Lottery sales go back to Good Causes all over Ireland in the areas of health, sport, welfare, arts and heritage. In the last 30 years more than €5 billion has been given to Good Causes.
