Feel Good Friday is back again today and it brings with it a fantastic line-up of events.
Forget Electric Picnic – Electric Cork is where it’s all happening! The boardwalk at Electric on South Mall will come to life as there is not one, but two live musical performances lined up. It all kicks off at 5.30pm with the High Hopes Choir hitting all the right notes to get you in the mood for the weekend ahead. This is followed by an “electric” performance by the incredibly talented Cork City Samba Band – best start dusting off those dancing shoes now!
And if all this wasn’t enough, the generous folks at Electric will be serving some tasty finger food so that’s dinner covered. These events will also double up as a fundraising event for a very worthy Cork City charity – Cork Penny Dinners.
Cork City traders are also getting that Friday Feeling and are kindly running some exclusive Feel Good Friday offers throughout the day. Stop by Café Velo any time today where with every purchase you will be entered into a draw to be in with a chance of winning one of 4 Dinner for Two vouchers! Venture up to The Metropole Hotel for lunch from 12pm and treat yourself to their Feel Good Friday special.
The Glucksman at UCC are keeping in with the music theme by running a FREE “Rhythmic Recycling” workshop from 10am-12pm where you can make you own instruments from recyclables. Amicus and McGettigans Bar & Grill at the Ambassador Hotel have some specials planned for you as well as Leader Menswear making sure you’re dressed for the occasion.
