Bantry Bay will soon come alive to the sounds of the best in traditional music as the 15th Masters Of Tradition festival takes place in the town of Bantry from 23rd to 27th August.
Internationally renowned fiddler, and Artistic Director of the festival, Martin Hayes, will be joined by the talents of Dennis Cahill, Iarla Ó Lionáird, Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh, Mícheál Ó Súilleabháin, Colin Dunne, Steve Cooney, Cathal Hayden, Seamie O’Dowd, Stephen Hayden, Len Graham, Jack Lynch, Kate Ellis, John Carty, Mary MacNamara, Sorcha Costello, Slow Moving Clouds, Mick O’Brien, Neil Ó Loclainn’s Cuar and more, to celebrate Irish Traditional music in its purest form.

Performances take place in Bantry House, one of Ireland’s finest historical mansions, and in one of Bantry’s other special venues, St Brendan’s Church in the town Square. Masters of Tradition will draw to a close with a special concert with Martin Hayes on fiddle, Dennis Cahill on guitar, and many special guests, on Sunday, 27th August, at Bantry House.
