The National Day of Commemoration Ceremony, to honour all Irishmen and Irishwomen who died in past wars or on service with the United Nations, will take place today 11 am in Fitzgerald’s Park, The Mardyke, Cork.
The ceremony will be attended by local Public Representatives, members of the Defence Forces, Religious Leaders, and Community Representatives.
The ceremony is open to members of the public to attend.
