Shanagarry Design Centre is hosting a Mini Wellness Festival on Saturday July 8th from 8.30am-11.30am.
Enjoy an introduction to Yogandha Oils with the founder of Yogandha, Sinead Duffy, followed by a 1 hour Pilate’s class led by instructor Fiona Davis. Following the class you will be treated to hand massages and healthy drinks and snacks in the centre’s stunning Terrace Room, and there will also be a talk on the concept of wellness.
This holistic morning at Shanagarry is sure to induce a higher state of connectedness, according to the organisers.
The event costs €25 per person with €15 redeemable against any Yogandha products purchased on the day, so there has never been a more ideal time to indulge in a spot of self-care. Advance booking on kilkennyshop.com/kkshanevents is essential and your own mat is required.
Shanagarry Design Centre is also running weekly Pilates Classes, beginning next Friday July 7th, with instructor Fiona Davis. These classes will take place every week from 9am-10am and cost €10 per session or €8 if you book a group of six classes together.
All this wellness activity coincides with the launch of a new wellness department at Kilkenny Shop in Shanagarry Design Centre. Health and wellbeing have become a key focus of our daily lives, and skincare and beauty products are now following suit, as people begin to understand that the skin is a second stomach and conventional beauty products contain harmful chemicals and additives.
With this in mind, Kilkenny now has a carefully selected range of natural skincare and beauty products created to feed and nourish the skin and transform your body and wellbeing, including Voya, which harnesses the therapeutic properties of organic wild seaweed, relaxing wellbeing oils from Yogandha, and seaweed and essential oil based beauty products from Green Angel.
While you’re there, make sure you also leave time to discover some of the wonderful Irish design and craft at Kilkenny. From fashion and accessories to jewellery, pottery, art and homeware, you can choose from an array of top Irish designers such as Orla Kiely, Nicholas Mosse, Stephen Pearce, Waterford Crystal and John Rocha to name but a few, all internationally renowned for their talented creations and individual design flare.
The Shanagarry Design Centre is a hidden gem located less than 40 minutes from Cork City in the picturesque village of Shanagarry, overlooking Ballycotton Bay. The Centre is open Monday to Sunday from 10am to 6pm.
