“For reasons of public safety” Cork County Council’s Library Service have said that Kanturk Library will be closed from today until further notice.
The County Library sincerely regrets the inconvenience to Kanturk Library users and to mitigate the impact, Newmarket Library will open on a full time basis from tomorrow until the issue is resolved.
Library users are also welcome to use their membership in any other neighbouring library, or indeed in any other library in the Co Cork – which is always the case – A full list of libraries is available on www.corkcoco.ie/library
Books may also be requested and renewed online, and e-books, e-audiobooks, e-magazines and other online services remain unaffected.
