The Metropole Hotel in Cork City continues to celebrate 120 years in business. A cocktail reception was held this week where guests shared stories and memories of the institution. Various items of memorabilia were on display, including old guest registers.
The Metropole are about to embark on a €50 million euro development which will include the development of the former PJ O’Hea Opel garage into a sister hotel. Future plans were displayed at the reception.
