Well the sun is out, and preparations are underway at the Munster Agricultural Showgrounds in Curraheen, County Cork as the 100 acre site gets ready to welcome thousands of visitors on Saturday 17 June and Sunday 18 June. As well as visitors, there will also be hundreds of animals on site, and visitor numbers are set to reach 50,000 over the 2 day event. There will be show jumping, pony races, cattle breeding classes, poultry classes, sheep and goat competitions and many typical agricultural show competitions and showings. Add to this entertainment for adults from live music, craft beer tents, Munster’s largest food market, motoring, high tech & vintage machinery, gardening and even big screens for the Cork v Waterford match, it’s a show that adults love as much as children. This year’s bigger than ever free kidzone is complete with pet dog arena, bouncy castles, animal petting farms, competitions and lots more fun indeed, the Cork Summer show has it all.
