Get Set for a Summer of Flavour!
Foodies and lovers of all things fresh and local are in for a treat this summer, with the launch of Mahon Point’s Summer Market.
Tempting delights will be available every Tuesday from the 6th June with many of the areas famous high quality, artisanal foods and produce ready to sample and savour. This is in addition to the Thursday market, offering two market days every week at Mahon Point Shopping Centre for the summer months.
Expanding on the ever-popular award winning Thursday market, this new summer offering from Mahon Point Shopping Centre will allow locals and visitors to the area an extra opportunity to indulge in lovingly grown, foods from small producers across the county.

Similar to the Thursday marketing, the Summer Market will take place every Tuesday from 10am to 2.30pm on the plaza of the Mahon Point Shopping Centre, and come rain or shine there will be a diverse range of local farmers and artisan producers ready to share their passion and produce.
Mahon Point Shopping Centre Manager, Justin Young commented,
“Mahon Point Farmers’ Market is now in its 12th year and continues to grow in popularity both with customers and stallholders. The Summer Market will give us a chance to give shoppers even more opportunities to support our local producers and enjoy another day out at this very popular market.
Rupert Hugh-Jones, who manages the Farmers Market added,
“We are so excited to have an extra chance to celebrate the exceptionally high quality of locally produced food and cannot wait to raise the curtain on a foodie summer season here at Mahon Point.”
